Intermediate Paper Piecing
Picture

So you have tried paper piecing but it was awhile ago and all you did was possibly a sample block.  Now you want to do more or you want a refresher or a supervised practice and a completed mini wall hanging that proves your proficiency.

This class will cover all the basics and take the next step of putting multiple paper pieced blocks together, making this 'geese in the round' block.  Make this wall hanging your own by selecting background and geese fabric in any color scheme you choose.  Hopefully after this class you will be comfortable with the process and ready to take on your own projects.  Call or stop by the shop to sign up.

Time:  Sat. 02/16,  9:30 am -2:00 pm
Cost:    $25.00

Whirling Dervish
Picture
This quilt received its name because of the "whirling" image the blocks give; the  blocks give the appearance of spinning rapidly around a central point.  They are made with strip piecing and the Tucker Trimmer III tool from Studio 180 Design.  It is easy enough for confident beginners but interesting enough for veteran quilters.  You choose the size: Lap (46: x 57"), Twin (57" x 90"), Queen (79" x 101") or King (101" x 112").  Call or stop by the shop to sign up.

Time:  Sat. 03/02,  9:30 am -3:00 pm
Cost:    $50.00
Instructor:   Joan Shortsleeve, Certified Instructor Studio 180 Design
Still Level:  Confident Beginner to All Levels
